Cheering on the 2023 Harvest Festival, Asian Film and Music Streaming Digital Platform FH Cinema are showing the first Kadazandusun tribal epic film in Sabah to rock the stage, AVAKAS, which starts today, 26 May 2023.
Tickets for the screening of this film have already gone on sale at midnight on 25 May 2023 and can now be viewed on the website www.fhcinema.com.my for only RM7 per viewing.
According to the Managing Director of FH Production Sdn Bhd, Freddy Harmthon, who is also the distributor of this digital film, there are many requests among local film fans for the AVAKAS film to be shown at FH Cinema.
"In conjunction with the opening of FH Cinema's film and music digital marketing platform, we are screening the movie AVAKAS as an opening. We take the month of May for the first screening in conjunction with the month of Kaamatan, which is celebrated by the Kadazandusun, Murut, and Rungus tribes in this state.
"We hope that with this screening, it adds to the festive atmosphere with the family by just watching this movie on their respective smartphones, and can also be watched on a computer and connected to the TV screen," he said.
Besides AVAKAS, another work by Marc Abas titled "The Photographer" will follow to be marketed at FH Cinema.
"I would like to invite all filmmakers in the country, especially in the state of Sabah, to market their films on FH Cinema because this platform is very strategic for marketing and can generate a decent income.
"I am confident that with the advancing digital era, and society now shifting towards digital, the income of a film can reach millions of ringgit, and it can be used as capital to make new films and thus generate wide job opportunities," he concluded.
Previously, FH Cinema was a digital Asian film and music marketing platform operating in Putatan, Sabah, that had just started operations.
